Pongrawe Co,.Ltd has operated in the petroleum transportation business since 1996. They are the leading petroleum transportation company in Thailand and Laos. In early 2017, Pongrawe Cargo Link,.Ltd together with Asia Sun Group became Puma Energy’s largest transport contractor in Myanmar.

In May 2017, Puma Energy opened a new state-of-the-art petroleum products storage facility in Thilawa for bitumen, diesel, gasoline, and Jet A-1 with a total capacity of 91,000 m³. Thilawa terminal represents the largest international petroleum products terminal.

Objectives

Puma Energy and Pongrawe adhere to the very strict international Transport Regulations as not only it is liable to the community it operates in, but furthermore when dealing with transportation of hazardous cargo, any accident can become a tragedy and an environmental disaster. Hence the key objectives were:
  • A system which would help to maintain international safety standards for transportation of dangerous goods.
  • Able to gather data which can be used for driver training.
  • Reduce overall operational costs and increase overall fleet efficiency.
  • Accident reconstruction and analysis.
